The Process of Working with Me

Step 1: Contact Me

 

The first step is for you to reach out to me.  I will respond and we will arrange a phone call to talk about your needs.  Lots of people struggle with this first step, but don't worry, there is no obligation to move past this point.  When you are ready to proceed, you will! 

Step 2: Complimentary Assessment

If you want to take this a step farther, I will meet you in your space to gain a deeper understanding of your needs.  There is no fee for the initial assessment and no obligation on your part to enlist my services. This is your opportunity to get to know me and see if you will feel comfortable with me in your home.  Organizing can be deeply personal and it's important that we both feel comfortable.

Step 3: Organizing the Space

 

If you decide to proceed I will come up with a plan based on your needs. The most common approach is for me to work side-by side with you as we organize the space.  There are situations, however, where I do work on my own, with the client checking in on progress and answering questions I may have.  (The Corporate Storage space in the Before & After section is an example of this.)

At the end of each session I will give you an invoice.  Payment is by cash or e-transfer.

Step 4: Follow-up 

Six months after completion of the project, I'll contact you to see how things are going. Life can get busy and circumstances can change.  In that case, I am happy to come back and "tweak" the space to meet your changing needs - or you can always contact me at any time.
